SquidSoap LP is an Austin, Texas based company with its main distribution facility in Wichita Falls, Texas. The company is working on improving health through innovative advances in hand washing and hygiene.  
 
Our Technology
 
SquidSoap has the exclusive US license for consumer products for the breakthrough hand washing technology behind SquidSoap. A series of patents and patents pending cover broadly the concept of marking a person's hands in order to promote better hand washing.

Our Philosophy

SquidSoap is convinced that medical history clearly shows the crucial importance of hygiene and sanitation to human health. It is generally acknowledged by medical professionals that Pasteur and Koch’s work in microbiology and sanitation have done more to increase the lifespans of humans than any other scientific advancement in the last 1,000 years. Also in the 19th Century, Lister’s work on hygiene, Semmelweis’ work on handwashing in hospitals, and Snow’s purification of London’s water supply had very large positive impacts on improving health and life span.

Relatively simple hygiene improvements such as handwashing, heating food and chlorinating water have done more to improve human health than more complex or elegant medical breakthroughs such as Crick and Watson’s DNA discovery or even Fleming’s discovery of penicillin.

The clear historical lesson is:

SANITATION/HYGIENE + SIMPLICITY = HUGE HEALTH BENEFITS

SquidSoap intends to remember this lesson. Accordingly, our plan is to continue to develop products and technology which will increase and improve handwashing. The US Centers for Disease Control has stated:
